There's intensity in the eyes of this guy.
Well done.

What was the subject distance ?
Was this through glass ?

It looks like it is just curious, not ready to strike just yet.

Thanks, francois.  degrub, the only thing between me and the snake were my prayers.  Actually I was shooting with a 500 mm lens.  No need to get within striking distance.

Nice shot.
But I would have used the 5000 mm lens.

Hey, Eric, my wife won't let me buy the 5000 mm lens.  She claims it's too heavy for her to carry.

So buy her a sled!    ;)

Eric, we already have a sled that my wife sits in and I pull.  When I stated that she told me that the 5000 mm is too heavy for her to carry I meant to say "while she is sitting in the sled."

Now, get a St. Bernard dog to pull that sled!

Given that my mother and wife both call me a "dirty-dog" all I can say (to all of you) is "ruff-ruff."
