From a place far away (from me), and some time back.

Very nice. I'm guessing, Galapagos ?

Superb shot with iguanas barely visible but just enough to notice them and start exploring this shot more closely!
Well done.

Thanks to each of you for your kind comments. And yes, the location is the Galapagos, from a few years ago. Truly a wondrous place.

+1. That's a beauty, Arlen.

Thanks, Bob, I appreciate it.

A very dark image, that would normally be very difficult to process successfully, but you have done an excellent job here Arlen.

Thanks for the feedback, Dave. It was a challenging image. I needed to selectively lift the shadows enough to tell what the foreground was if you looked at it long enough, while preserving the overall feeling of the scene. I worked on it a while, then came back several times to assess the situation. I find that sometimes if l look at something long enough I can become acclimated and lose perspective. It helps to look with fresh eyes a day or two later.
