Title: Solux Track Lighting Head Replacement
Post by: steverap on January 03, 2023, 04:19:04 pm: I am a photographer and I have two Solux track lighting systems in my studio. I need to replace several of the heads, but Solex is out of business. Does anyone know where I can get replacement heads for Solux track lighting?

MR16s? That's not unique to Solux, the bulbs are.

Correct. Kind of a 'universal' fit. So IF (and if they are like mine) you have Solux bulbs for MR 16, and you find an MR 16 track, they just pop in.
You may end up needing a new track but again, if MR 16, and there are hundreds, just replace and use those bulbs.

Post by: steverap on January 10, 2023, 10:09:26 am: Track heads sold by Solux for its track lighting system were made WAC Lighting and can be found on Amazon and elsewhere: WAC HHT-809-WT. They work with Solux MR16 bulbs. I just received a few for $36.76 apiece.
