Title: Old flash with current canon
Post by: DarkPenguin on January 14, 2007, 06:43:08 pm
Okay,

I have an old supak flash designed for canon ttl and not ettl.  If I run this on a current canon body the canon will error.  If I remember correctly one can either clip or mask off some pins to get a basic manual or auto flash.

Before I start experimenting does any one know which pins I should be masking?  I think I only need one.

Thanks!

If you look at the flash shoe such that the big dot is at the top it is the left 2 pins that need to be masked.  FYI
