Rather unorthodox crop in the winter image, but it works very well.

These were shot with the Panasonic LX100 II which outputs to an aspect ration of 4:3. The second image is virtually uncropped, the first adjusted a little, mostly to reduce the featureless sky.

The statue on the right is of Einar Benediktsson (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Einar_Benediktsson) who was, among other things, a poet.
