Title: Canyon wonders
Post by: mseawell on December 07, 2022, 02:11:56 pm
Now that I am home and able to look at what I captured in Arizona, my appreciation grows. The sheer audacity of nature, the brazen limits to which it pushes itself is beyond me. My feeble brain attempts to comprehend the millions of years of evolution of what I witness to be carved out, molded, assembled and finally presented. It is as though nature is literally saying to me "Remove thy shoes for you stand on holy ground" and maybe I do. Canyon wonders.

Yes,.. your image brought back to me some my precious moments!

Lake Superior,... below ,...  it was Jan 1998 or so.

my Lake Superior wonders,....

Beautiful shot with great composition and processing. When visiting such natural wonders, I feel like in a gothic cathedral - respect, humility and admiration!

Thanks for sharing the story and this image.
