Worth every cent! I miss my old P1 CCD, but never owned this beauty, only a lesser one. The CCD needed lots of light to function at the lowest possible ISO and it drank it all without a trace, but the images possessed elevated but never harsh highlights and a smudgy pastel look that merged with infinitely gently graduated shadows, a magnificence akin to a Rembrandt. My CMOS IQ3-100 completely lacks this. I assure you you'll miss this when it's gone! :)

I agree. I moved onto a CMOS back (more flexibility as I travel a lot), hence the sale...but there's definitely something to be missed about CCD and the build quality of this back is very robust.
