My photoshop toolbar is not allowing me to choose tools.
which ever tool i choose.it functions as a brush or an eraser. Ive quite and relaunched several times...tried to reset to the default tools tools,..forced the generation of new preferences at the beginning of the launch.
None of these actions have had any affect on the toolbar.
adobe tells me that my Photoshop 2018 cc app is no longer supported.
I need help.
Thank you.

This sounds like it might be something to do with the Wacom tablet.
Does Photoshop exhibit the same behaviour when you use a mouse ?

i had been...I am embarrassed, but not hesitant to say, that I had been holding my wacom pen backwards .
Im just glad that i had not been trying to drive a motor or electric vehicle in an utterly exhausted condition...
Thank you

at present im moderately aware of how im holding the pen. If id rebotted the computer and hour earlier....i might never have fiipped the pen end for end..
