I am hoping to watch a little over lunch and finish up after work. I'm happy to see the ability to place individual variants into albums - I know small things make me happy :-)
Here is the link to watch on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=awUld2JHaiA

I've just looked at the "6 features to get excited about" in v23 and groaned.

Underwhelming to say the least for many of us.

C1PRO became woke [I abhor this term and the overall "woke culture" by the way]
?? what are you on about ?

I redacted and expunged my message. I was ranting on and I realized it's not the time or place. Please disregard. Thank you. :-)

I'm not a professional photographer. Just an "advanced amateur" who's been shooting SLRs and DSLRs for over 50 years. In 2014 I switched from Photoshop to Capture One Pro 7, because I preferred its raw conversions and UI. Since then, I've purchased upgrades all the way to v22. But I don't see any reason for upgrading to v23. All the new features and changes are targeted at pros, who frequently need to cull and process a large number of shots.
And that's OK. Those users have always been the primary market for Capture One Pro. I'm just glad that I got v22 as a purchase, rather than on the subscription model.

Same here but I do wildlife and frequently actually do have hundreds and hundreds of images to go through. I've been using Photmechanic to review rate and keyword my images before moving them into C1.

Same for sure. I skipped v21 because it was not enough. Once 22 came along it added enough for me. v23 is interesting because I might be able to do everything I could with PM in C1. That plus the ability to add a particular variant to an album is one of the things I have been waiting to see come to C1.
