Perfectly timed. I love this man's posture and the composition is uncommon (for this activity).

Thanks, francois. I was birding on the other side of the river when I came across this gentlerman skimming rocks. Being an expert skimmer myself, I immediately recognized that he was no causal skimmer -- his throws traveled far. I was happy to get an image of him as he contorted his body and let go of his his stone. More luck than talent, I was also able to capture the in-air water droplets from his stone as he let go.

Again, bravo! Usually, skimmers are photographed from behind or from the side and the body isn't in the most interesting position. Yours is outstanding…
