I'm just home from a lengthy trip to Papua New Guinea and Australia. I thought I'd start by sharing this amazing Bird of Paradise the Ribbon-tailed Astrapia. What a bird!

thanks for sharing,... birds are indeed something very special.
Don't how you managed some wonderful shots of these birds,... but glad you did.

Superb photos again. Those birds are really special with colors rarely seen here. I agree with Leszek, you must be a magician.

humbly,.. I wish to say that what you have recorded for "all" of us who wish,... but can never get close to these wonderful birds, ... let alone take an image of,
please let me acknowledge just how difficult it is to actually capture one of these wonderful
little ones.
Background... on a tour in the Daintree Rain forest, our guide was hustling our group out towards our hotels,... but one last image to capture, I never thought I would see this little one,... I held up the group for a bit,... but not long enough for me,...
A King Fisher, so hard to get his/her best portrait. Many shots taken,.. but alas this is what the best I was left with.
f5.6, 300mm, 1/80 sec, ISO 3200, handheld.
