This september i was traveling along the SW-coast of Portugal. Walking next to the cliffs and beaches ( and dangerous, you have to be aware all the time).
Oh how i enjoy walking as a means for traveling on my holidays.
Here a special sunset shot with a telelens; what i like about a telelens ( 600mm-pano) is that you see things that are unseen; in this case the ship.

Very fine!

Fiery is the word that comes to mind. Did the ship get closer to the line of the sun?
-
yes, i have more, but then also the sun set...
Have not deceided yet how fierce the photo will be- work in progress - all is possible. The sea can be much lighter
The sunsets are a bit cliché (to say the least); don't know how much i really like it to put much effort in it.
as i side note - in print it does look very good on matte paper ( HM308gr) coming out of my Z3200 - much better than in glossy
-
The sky is really on fire… By the way, did you meet Paulo? ;D
-
i like to show the force of the sun ...
No, unfortunately we could not meet- he was in lLissabon at the time... would have been nice.
I only met Ernst Dinkla of this forum- but then he is Dutch too and we share the same printer type.

To give an impression of the wonderful coast:
in the right-under corner there is a little sweetwater stream that ends it journey- something you will find at more beaches.
