I have several of these and they all have a sort of 'creepy' or unsettling feeling to them, because if you study them long enough, you will start to see things within the upper part of the background, like ghoulish faces etc.

Brain is spinning with that kind of images.
I love it and could spend a long time observing and trying to find things.
Well done.

I love it, too! Well done, Dave.

Very unusual and interesting!

Love it! Working on a series taking into account the same phenomenon. Will post elsewhere.

Interesting and not too creepy IMO. Maybe the creepy is in the eye of the beholder? ;)
I'm also a fan of this kind of effect and I'm always on the lookout for it.

Thanks once again everyone ;)

Late to the party but I concur with all the earlier sentiments.

Thank you :)
If any of you saw the pond where I took this, you wouldn't think it was to possible to get a shot out of it, as it is a scruffy little over fished pond on the outskirts of Sheffield. But we were down there visiting my mom in the care home where she now lives and so we went out for a walk after quite a troubling a visit, for a bit of a de-stress type of thing and of course I had my camera with me just in case and bingo. There it was in front of me and all I had to do was click the shutter and in that briefest of moments, all my worries seemed to fall away.
Ah the therapeutic powers of landscape photography ;D
