Some people are completely oblivious to the danger but I'm not surprised to tell you the truth. At least, they didn't jump into the lava flow like a depressed German citizen in a crater of Sicily's Stromboli (https://www.swisseduc.ch/stromboli/volcano/accidents/acc00-en.html).

Every year we see needless deaths at the beaches, in the Highlands, or on mountain cliffs. Primarily the Instagram set who come to Iceland believing its wilderness is just another version of an outdoor Disneyland.
