Title: Filter Preset?
Post by: Redcrown on August 09, 2022, 03:03:04 pm
Please excuse a LR newbie, but Google has failed me.

Is there a way to create a preset for just the Filter (not edits)? I bounce back and forth between a few selections like, "Show me all TIF images from these 2 cameras", followed later by, "Show be all raw images over ISO 3200". Any way to avoid re-clicking on almost every item in metadata?

Sorry, I don't quite understand the question.
If you want to find stuff, I go to Smart Collections. What I think you're asking for is doable with them.

Click on the small arrows to the right of "Custom Filters" and select  "Save Current Settings as New Preset" See attached image.

The limitation with Smart Collections is that you can chose only one or similar values, E.G. you can chose Cameras that Start with "Nikon" or Shot at ISO 3200, but not something as "Shot with Nikon or Canon at ISO 800 or ISO 2400".

Thanks, fdisilvestro. That's it. Dumb me, expecting to find things in menus instead of off in the corner under a drop-down with a truncated description.
