Title: Lumariver Profile Designer M1 M2 macOS Monterey macOS Ventura
Post by: spassig on July 02, 2022, 11:14:02 am
Hello

I would buy LPD.
Actual I use macOS 10.13.6 on iMac and MBP.
LPD run as trial for testing.
Does someone know the roadmap for Lumariver Profile Designer?
Does LPD run on modern Mac and modern macOS?

Jochen

Don't know the road map, only the developer does.
It runs fine on my Mac, under Monterey. I'm NOT on a new M1/2 chip FWIW.

Thanks, this sounds good.

works fine on my M1 MacBook Pro. Lumariver does not seem to have been updated in awhile. It would be nice if it were optimized for the M1.

I have bought it only a year ago, and have some remarks...
It seems the maker has not much time to update the program and while i like mostly programs made by one person because they are so rock solid, it has drawbacks too...
The continuity can be lost easely. In this case the program really needs an update - it crashes when using two targets. Anders Torger- the maker- is aware of that.
Other than that it seems to work, at least on Mojave.
I think his problem is he cannot make enough money with the software so has to have second job.
The same with the in essence very good other program -Lumariver HDR - that is even more outdated and has more quirks...
So check first if the program works for you before you buy it.

I assumed Anders Torger is developer at Xarepo?
