Title: Luminous LA lightning!

A bit of surprise weather for an LA summer, where there are usually empty skies and empty reservoirs...

Still grab from an iPhone video shot out my window, levels-tweeked in Photoshop.

It rained overnight a bit and perhaps underneath this ugly sky, but not in my immediate area.
