Title: Webs in the Forest
Post by: maddogmurph on May 22, 2022, 02:23:41 pm

Well they are hard to see, but they are there! Anyone interested in going to Pakistan in mid July? I've got an opening.

There is no substitute for exploration. You won't typically find scenes like this on a trail, or a road. For me, part of the excitement of life has always been to venture into the unknown, searching for opportunities to express the feelings that true exploration creates. I've nearly come to terms with the fact that perhaps images are an incomplete method, particularly when we have video mediums that help bring to life perspective, scale, sounds, and dimension. But the real reason I'm out there isn't to convey it, that's a side effect I discovered as a particular responsibility some time ago. The reason I go, is that it recharges me for some reason, at a fundamental level. It makes me feel a sense of connectedness that I don't feel anywhere else. And so I continue to explore, until I cannot any longer.
