We had actually gone there trying to spot the pod of whales, which had been sighted here a few days earlier, feeding across the sound over towards Skye to our right, when I became transfixed by the shapes that the outgoing tide was creating on the beach to our left. So as my wife spent the next hour or so, staring through her binoculars at the sea trying to spot whales and dolphins etc, I setup my gear to take this shot of the shapes in the sand to our left, much to her bemusement - until she saw this picture a few days later and realised what it was that I had been getting so excited about :)
We never did see the whales by the way, they had obviously moved on by the time we got there, but we still had a lovely day out ;D

Well seen and developed; for this one could use a tilt lens...

Lovely Dave. A tilt lens would be cool too, but would change this into a full abstract IMHO. I like that there is just a touch of reality with that narrow strip of sea across the TOF. Gorgeous!

Nice shot.
It beats whales any day, IMHO.
