My Epson P906 (P900) has been economical in terms of ink use. However, today, when I switched it on, it ran through an extensive cleaning recharging cycle that seems similar to the initial prime. As a result ink levels reduced by about 10% (visual estimate) and the near new waste tank (I've printed less than a dozen A4 prints since replacing it) is now needing replacement.
Is this normal and have others experienced this?
