Title: Trade an Alpa SWA or TC for a hasselblad 903?
Post by: Peter786 on February 01, 2022, 08:20:53 am
Hello.

What do you think would be a fair trade between an ALPA SWA or TC with 6x8 film back and 58mm super angulon lens in exchange for a hasselblad 903?

Would you ask for cash on top and if so, how much.

To take the variable out, lets assume everything on both sides is clean and in the same/equivalent good condition.

As a side comment, anyone interested?

thanks

As always, it depends on what you want to shoot and whether time matters to you when shooting.
As for worth, that's always determined by the buyer!
Bear in mind your 903 has the best Zeiss Biogon lens ever - Zeiss were obliged to change the glass formula and drop the arsenic to match EEC standards so it's successor the 905 vignetted more than the 903 did. But I'm biassed - the 905SWC was so easy to use and carry, and the images celestial. I imagine your 903 exceeds this :)
