Says 2.6 of 15gb used, but I only have 300 mb in one folder. Anyone know what says 2.6GB used? Thanks! (I'm kinda of new to Google Drive, and while not Apple per se, I have on Imac thanks!)

The 15GB are shared between the drive and the email account, so the 2.6GB could be mostly mail attachments in your inbox / sent folders.

Interesting FD, you know how delete everything in my mail account to can test this?

There is not much to test, check https://one.google.com/faq/storage (https://one.google.com/faq/storage)
Every Google Account comes with 15 GB of storage that's shared across Google Drive, Gmail and Google Photos. When you upgrade to Google One, your total storage increases to 100 GB or more depending on which plan you choose. You'll also get extra member benefits and access to support from Google experts − all of which you can share with your family.

Thanks I have no interest in upgrading, just curious why 2.5 says used, when don't use any of those features.

This page will show how the storage is used between mail, drive and photos (you have to be logged in your session)
https://one.google.com/storage (https://one.google.com/storage)
Check the bin / trash in case there are files there. When you delete it may take some time before google shows the updated space.

Excellent FD, never seen that that page great; so says google drive using only 0.14

But when I'm on Google drives it say 2.5GB is already used. (see previous screenshot)

Have you recently deleted files or mails? Have you had recently shared files from another user?
Try adding a large file and then delete it (including emptying the trash) and see if the space used gets updated
