What are those things (dark in color, geometrical in shape) near the upper right corner, and are they man-made?

Your guess is right. This was shot from a helicopter and I requested the pilot to increase the altitude to 6000 feet to get this view. Our average flight altitude was 3000 feet.

The drone ceiling from the launch point is limited by DJI software to 500 m (~ 1640 feet) and it would take a software hack to bypass it (plus flying it that high would be illegal in many places).

Thanks. Those are peaks protruding from the glacial ice and are called Nunataks. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nunatak)
There is virtually no human presence here (hiking is the only mode that gets you close to this glacier and it isn't a trivial trek).

You're lucky. In Canada, I'm limited to about 125 metres (400ft) above takeoff point. Mind you, that's scary enough. I can barely see it at that height.

Helicopters really are magic carpets, eh? You certainly use its magic well on this shot. I keep going back to view it again.

I've seen similar forms in Hawaii, but instead of snow coloring it white there's sulfur coloring it yellow. Sorry I don't know a Hawaiian name for it. It's also a treacherous place. The bottoms of your hiking boots get hot and begin to melt.
