technical qualities aside, this reminds me of "the road not taken" or choices in life.

this was done with an all-pass modified D800 (UVIR cut filter removed and replaced with borosilicate cover glass) with a UG2a filter on the lens (UG2a passes UV, some blue and IR).. the result is below.. the image at the top was the result of adjusting the hue and brightening the foreground using luminosity masks.

I like this one a lot. The blue sky is, to me, much more pleasant than the yellow one. I'm probably narrow-minded ;)

I actually like the blue sky better myself... was just interested to play with the hue.

golden hue = historic, mysterious
blue hue = winter, cold, uninviting

I vote for the blue sky version.

I'd vote for one in pure b&w, I think. I find the colored sky looks weird when all else is monochrome.
