Photograph by Christopher Burkett, "Cottonwood and Light", Utah, 1987. Purchased from Carol, Photography West Gallery in Carmel, CA. If you go to Carol's website, photography west dot com, you will see it is his "signature" image at her site. You will also see it in the PBS at YouTube, "Landscape photographer races to finish decades of work". In perfect condition, this is a signed original print that is currently sell at the gallery for $6,000.00 unframed!
Asking $4,500.00 / OBO
The actual Cibachrome print is 23" wide X 18" tall. The complimenting frame is 37" wide X 33" tall.
If you know about Mr. Burkett's work this is the signature image that he is most famous for, shot in 1987.
I purchased it and am the original owner of it, you'd be the second. I paid full price from Carol at Photography West Gallery in Carmel, CA. I then had it professionally framed and if I recall correctly with museum glass, but I can not find the receipt so will not guarantee that. It has hung in my office ever since. Health issues are what is forcing the sale of it, no one in my family will appreciate its beauty and I want to be enjoyed by someone that appreciates the art, not just it's value.

However, Federal Express has a pack and ship shop right by UNC here in Chapel Hill, NC that has shipped other valuable items for me in the past and done a great job. Shipped via buyers choice at buyers expense and risk OR pick up in Chapel Hill, NC.
I'll post more photos this evening when dark so there is not as much glare and reflection in the photo.
