This wonderful, little hummingbird, ( I think it is a Ruby Throated ) but not sure!
In any case, mid afternoon, looking up about,... 30 feet, or so, this one seemed to like the top of this bare tree. So patiently waited for the best portrait pose.

,.... But captured those tiny feet longing to touch the landing branch.

Not much time on this one to set,.. anything up,.. hand held,.. but at least I have the memory. Glad to share.
Not an expert on looking for these ones in the wild,.. but sure glad I was there to see it.

At first the little one took flight,... but I quietly stayed in anticipation of a return visit,... and prepared to capture this little one,... and moments later I did. lucky I guess.
