Title: Save Metadata message error
Post by: andyptak on July 17, 2021, 03:58:48 pm
I've been having various errors in synching metadata since I moved to NAS storage. Most of them are no big deal - and incorrect - but a new one has cropped up. If I make a change just in LR and click Save Metadata I get a message that a change has occured outside of LR (which it has not) and do I want to save that change? My change has been exclusvely within LR and not externally. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

The NAS clock is maybe not perfectly synchronized with the computer's one?

I wondered about that myself, but I'm not sure how that would account for LR thinking changes had been made in an external program rather than internally. That might accont for the bigger issue of the metadata not being synched properly though.
