Don't know the species of this mushroom.
Don't see this one very often where I go.

Simply beautiful. I must say that the title made me fear something less aesthetic!

Thank you Leszek, nirpat, Bob B, David, and francois for your comments.
I guess the title could be a chapter in a crime story down the bayou?
And instead of my usual toning of yellow and red/yellow I chose yellow and blue/yellow. Was hoping it'd make the fungi come forward.
Don't have a color version right now. Will have to see about making one.
