Title: Maurepas Swamp in the Rain

It's already late spring here in Louisiana and most of the plants have emerged above the dark water.

Thank you francois and degree for your kind comments.
I used a 24-70 Tamron G2 set at 24mm @f8 with a polarizing filter. Since I'm usually in a kayak, bobbing and drifting, the motion dampening of the lens is quite helpful.

I can feel the humidity. Your images revive memories of over 30 years ago of the Louisiana bayous.

The more I know the swamp the less forbidding it seems.
But no matter how much I'm there the heavy blanket of humidity does not let up.
