Hy!
I have a CRT GDM-FW900 display(24") from Sony. I use the recomanded resolution 1920X1200(16:10).
My problem is that when i use the above resolution(1920X1200) a square becomes a rectangle and a circle becomes elliptical(oval). I have no black frames at lateral sides of display. To lower resolutions(1600X1200=4:3) i have no problem with that. What can I do ? Is there somebody with some ideea?
Thanks

Could the problem be that the native resolution of that monitor is 2304x1440 (still 16:10), and perhaps your video card cannot properly support it?

Have you tried the options in Image > Pixel Aspect Ratio in Photoshop?
Just a thought,
