Title: Update on my website
Post by: Eric Myrvaagnes on March 27, 2021, 12:02:40 pm
LuLa Friends,

I have just completed a major reorganization of my Photography website to make it somewhat simpler and less cluttered. If you have time to check it out, please send comments to me at ericmyrvaagnes@gmail.com. The website address is www.myrvaagnes.com (http://www.myrvaagnes.com), which takes you directly to my photography.

I have also now posted a report on my kidney website, ericneedsakidney.org (http://ericneedsakidney.org), twelve months after my kidney transplant.

Site is looking good, health is looking good, and I enjoyed hearing your flute clip :)

Keep up with those trips to the derm - my wife is a multiple time melanoma survivor, and her visits (every 6 months) have caught *4* instances and kept her treatment limited to just surgeries and no metastatic instances for 15 years.  Early detection will keep you aways form the nasty stuff.

Keep kicking ass :)

Thanks, Rab. My next planned change is to make the images larger for those with bugger screens than mine.

Thanks, James.

I had a neighbor who died of Melanoma about twenty years ago, so I am properly careful. My brother had a facial blemish spotted by a dentist a few years ago, which turned out to be a melanoma, but was caught quickly enough to be completely removed. So he, like me, sees his dermatologist every six months for a thorough checkup. I have had by now close to twenty skin cancers removed, but all of them so far have been either Basal Cell or Squamous, the two minor varieties.

The immunosuppressive drugs I now have to take for the rest of my life increase my susceptibility to skin cancers, so I am doubly cautious. Thanks for the warning.

Is your website dedicated to your photos and looks like a personal blog? I think you can make a website in the form of a personal blog if you want to show other people your photoshoots. However, if you want to search for clients and your website is your portfolio, it's better to think about a beautiful website made on WordPress. I know many examples of successful photographers who have made similar portfolios. I like to visit their websites and consider creative ideas. It's more useful than Pinterest! Take a look at the examples of websites for photographers on https://prosvit.design/wordpress-services/. Did you make your website yourself, or do you use the services of professional web designers as well as I do?
