More particularly, Whychus Creek, which is said to have meant "place we cross the water" in the local Native American dialect.

Very nice !

Wonderful !

Outstanding… I like how the trees/branches are covered with snow, it gives them a painterly look. The whole shot is very "tranquil", calming, without the usual harshness of the winter season.
Bravo!

I think it is two stars show. The "freshness of the snow", yes; but also the blueness of the rushing water and the wonderful contrast it creates between the agaist the snow.

Thanks very much to all of you, gentlemen, for your helpful comments. This seemed like a special place from the start, but getting it framed and presented properly, to overcome the clutter, was an enjoyable challenge.

Splendid. Bravo!

Thank you, Rajan.

It's the processing that makes this work.

Very nice indeed.
That snow on the branches spread throughout the scene and the blue in the sky, seems to this image an almost painterly quality (that's a compliment BTW) :)
