Title: Brown Pelican
Post by: Chris Calohan on March 02, 2021, 10:16:35 am
This is a series I took a few years ago just for practice in panning birds in flight - mostly though, I caught most at a specific point in the catch with higher shutter speeds.

For Mark, not posted to disparage your Pelican in Flight as there is good eye sharpness, but to show that anticipating their movements is 90% of the battle in getting good angles.

Hey, Chris, all nice images.  I especially like the second one.  For me, my image and your images are just different.  What I like about my image is its wing details.
Each of your images expresses behavior.  I do not consider them competitive even though other photographers might think differently.

As are all images...good work and good shooting in the future.
