It was on a hillside somewhere near the village of Cummington in rural Western Massachusetts many years ago. I assume it had been used in some festival parade the previous summer and then simply abandoned in a field. I do wish I had more context for it. And it seemed quite appropriate to post it again at this particular point in world history.
