Title: Infestation
Post by: David Eckels on December 06, 2020, 07:21:06 pm
Mesquite Bark Beetles
Little friends that decided my yard umbrella was a nice place to winter. When I first opened it, I thought it was raining bugs! The second image shows what was left after the first group fell out on my head.

Fortunately the wasp nests were dead.
Eric, there were literally 5-10 pounds of the buggers and when they fell out... PLOP! Yuk!

Yeah, and it looks like yours don't have red eyes, whereas all the ones I've seen here in Oregon do. We have millions of them around my house. And some of them even make their way inside, which drives my wife crazy.
