Title: Canyon reflections
Post by: MattBurt on November 21, 2020, 11:56:00 pm
My wife and I took a nice hike down here near the Black Canyon today. Staying local could certainly be worse.
It was overcast for much of the morning with the clouds breaking up over a few minutes before becoming clear blue.
Those few minutes were pretty nice for light and sky interest. To compliment that the river is hardly flowing from Blue Mesa dam creating mirror like conditions when the wind is calm.

That's a nice looking histogram. These would look good in B&W as well I suspect. Nicely captured.

Nice images… The sky is stunning and I have to agree with maddogmurphy, in B&W they will certainly look great too.

My preference is they remain in colour but with some tweaking of exposure & contrast. Right now they look a little washed out.

Good pair. I also agree that the shadows look a little too opened up, but that is a personal taste.
