Title: Sound notification when tethering
Post by: Ben Rubinstein on November 19, 2020, 06:22:24 am
Hi,

Is there any way, preferably within Capture One, to play a sound when a new image arrives via tethered shooting? I don't mind having an external program which is monitoring a folder but it has to work fast enough that I get a sound confirmation within say 3 seconds of the image arriving.

Background is the use of silent shooting to reduce entirely any vibration whatsoever while shooting macro (the need has been tested and established, EFCS is not sufficient) but I need to be able to tell the image arrived at the computer without being forced to look at nothing but the screen while working.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

If Mac, yes, you could make an AppleScript play a system sound using the Capture Done event...

I'm afraid it's PC.
