Yes it does.
For the last two years my son has been living with a lovely Vietnamese woman (her parents are still in Vietnam.) She is very smart and an excellent influence on our sometimes scatterbrained son. She was born after the war and keeps in touch with the small Vietnamese community nearby.

Good for her, and I hope her parents are well in Vietnam.
Here's another from Can Tho. These women are hod carriers.
-
And finally, at least for now, this guy. How much do you suppose that clay block weighs?
-
Between 110 and 150 pounds i’d reckon ;D 8)

Wonderful images, Russ. A world long before we lost it to iPhone and social media :).
-
I agree, Rajan. We're losing the art in photography. Here's another from twelve years earlier in Korea.
-
These are wonderful images. I'd love to see more of them.
-
Thanks, Rajan and Eric. Here are a couple more from Korea in 1953-54
-
And one more from Korea in 1954. Not shot by the subject.

Great photos, especially of the women washing clothes.
Russ, you look dashing and handsome in that photo.

I agree.
He probably looks much the same now, since he has the energy to get up every morning before dawn to take photos!

That was a long, long time ago. I'm less dashing now, but just as handsome. Ask any 80 to 90-year-old woman.
