I don't really remember how large it was; I'd guess the scene in the photo is about 40–50 feet from side to side. Rajan might be able to help; it's part of the Gullfoss complex.

That fits my recollection of Gullfoss from the 1970s.

Thanks for the info. I was not saying that a lack of scale was a problem or a negative point…
I've been in Gullfoss, a long time ago, I can figure out the scale now (and can also sleep peacefully ;-) )!

The Torrent shot best expresses the feeling of being there.
The "cliché shot" feels much too tame.
When I was there I never did figure out how to capture the sheer power of those falls. You succeeded.
