Canon R, 70-200/2.8 RF, at f/2.8

Beautiful photo,
but i can't see if it is 100% sharp and it also could be a one shot cropped for what you show. (4300px wide)
And anyway my nikkor 300mm VR PF does 1/30 hand held sharp at 46MP ( that is the limit)

Beautiful photo
Not bad for an old guy ;)

Excellent nightscape.

Dave,
I kill people for money. But you are my friend... I’ll kill you for nothing ;)

This is a 1/15s screen shot at 1:1 on my iMac 5K:

+1- saves us from a lot of posts about tripods...

Now, that's sharp
And mind you, that is at f/2.8 and ISO 1600.

The R does not have IBIS, am I right? How do you find the RF 70-200 f/2.8?

No, it doesn't. But the lens itself claims 5 stops of IS.
So far, I am absolutely delighted with the lens. Handling is superb, balance with the camera just right, sharpness excellent. I am rarely shooting stopped down anymore... 90% of shots at f/2.8 these days.

I had a friend who used to do very long prints on his Epson. He'd have loved this one.
