I agree that the image is a tad too dark.
My intention was to insinuate the vegetation while emphasizing the bird a bit
I'll try again

By George do you mean the heron, Russ?
He's a very solitary fellow. Makes acquaintance only with the cormorants.
For some reason frogs and fish seem to dislike him.
We have known each other for months now. But he prefers to keep some distance.
Covid, probably... 8)

Hi Rab, Yep. We have a lot of blue herons down here. I've posted a couple over the past couple months. We call him George. Don't know where that got started.
