Title: Burnin' Sky (sun's on fire in California)
Post by: plugsnpixels on September 07, 2020, 04:21:59 pm
The fires out in California (once again!) provide some great conditions for photography.

I shot this one last evening out of my living room window with an older Nikon COOLPIX L810 grab-and-go camera at max zoom (who goes outside anymore, and especially when everything is on fire?).

Actually, I was not near any fire but they were still close enough to smoke up my area.

Very dramatic.

Thanks Eric! Tonight the sun was just a solid orange disk against a flat grey sky, then it vanished into the mist.

I hope the fires stay away from you, and that California gets significant rain (or snow) SOON!

Thanks Eric, we might get a day or two of rain in December. Or not...

Sun came out this evening. For a minute.

And today, the nuclear winter continues...
