I've used both American Frame and Frame Destination and been satisfied. I would use Frame Destination more often if they had a larger selection of mat colors; American Frame has the edge there.

I've used Frame Destinations for years, especially for custom mat cutting. Service is great, packaging for shipping is beautiful and I've never had an issue when I've got their packages.

You could try framing fantastic (http://www.framingfantastic.co.uk/Picture_Frames_s/1477.htm).  I use them for mattes and for those they are very reasonable and very good.  Although in Northern Ireland they ship very reasonably and quickly to the mainland.  I haven't used them for frames but I highly recommend them for mattes, so might be worth contacting.

Ditto on American -- many years of good experiences. Maybe not the absolute cheapest, but very competitive.
