Title: Learning LR Classic from LR6
Post by: ymc226 on August 25, 2020, 11:16:26 am
I just upgraded to the subscription LR Classic after holding out on LR6 and was quite familiar using all of LR6 tools.  Is there a manual or website tutorial that would catch me up to speed with all of the new functions and older techniques improvements?  I started with LR3 with dedicated books like Martin Evening.

Here's a good, continually updated list of new features since version 6:

If you're already familiar with LR then that should be enough to get you started.  I would recommend searching google & youtube for tutorials on any particular new feature for which you want more in-depth coverage.

This might be useful: https://blogs.adobe.com/jkost/category/adobe-lightroom-classic. The page that opens has links to other resources.

I have learned a lot from courses on Lynda.com.

Anthony Morganti has some good tutorial videos on his YouTube channel:  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCkHNVO_aPDSqjfIG_XHlYIg   I've found some very useful techniques that were not intuitive.

Thank you very much for all of your recommendations.  I will review each one.
