I had to enlarge the image until I could see the bird clearly.

You're right. The image in the full screen mode in LR is one thing the smaller image surrounded by bright white is not quite right.
I tried with the black frame. I wouldn't know better for publishing here :(
Any ideas?

I agree.
Maybe a smaller black frame around the white border would work.
I think if you made the image brighter, it would destroy the sense of mystery.
I like it a lot.

Yes, the image must be dark, that was the idea of "mistery"
Let's give the thinner frame a try. What do you think?

Actually the thinner one is one of my "standard frames".
I tried the thicker one to bring out the dark picture but I agree that the thinner is better. :)
