Title: Mist & low clouds on the Dolomites
Post by: Vieri Bottazzini on August 20, 2020, 11:10:09 am
Known for their incredible mountain peaks, besides these the Dolomites offer a vaste range of different, and amazing, photographic opportunities. Here is a misty morning on Lake Dobbiaco, 20 seconds with Hasselblad X1D, Hasselblad XCD 90mm & Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters:

And here a spectacular sunset on the Tre Cime di Lavaredo clothed in low clouds, 1.4 seconds with Hasselblad X1D, Hasselblad XCD 30mm & Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters:

Both lovely.
I'm especially moved by the misty first one.

Mist/fog always adds a magical or mysterious layer to landscapes. Here, those two superb images are perfect examples.
Well done, Vieri.
