Title: Spreadwing (male)
Post by: fgorga on August 19, 2020, 07:29:18 am
Most probably a male Elegant Spreadwing or, possibly a Swamp Spreadwing.  They are very similar and this is not a good angle for helping to distinguish between the two.

Very nice. This one is my favorite of the two dragonflies you posted.

@Bob, @Francois and @Eric

Thank you!

@Bob... Just to keep the record straight, the spreadwing is a damselfly not a dragonfly. They are related, though.  ;D
