Title: What happened to the older articles?
Post by: Charles Johnson on June 22, 2020, 02:57:13 pm
I published a number of articles on LL through the years, and they all seem to have vanished.  For example, "What we see, and how we photograph it."  My Blog has links to these articles, and the links are now broken.  What happened?

For reference, I am the author of "Science for the Curious Photographer," Routledge Press, 2017.

Thanks Charles,

I’ll look into why the links would be dead, I’ll have a search now and see what the issue is.
When the site was updated by a previous management in 2014, many links went dark. I’ll see if they are retrievable.

Best

Josh

Other material and even my post regarding inaccessibility have disappeared?  These older and informed articles are of interest to me and I am sure others.

I’m more concerned about what’s happened to all the NEW content.  Perhaps I should have started the topic in this forum section instead...

I also found some missing content. The article "Setting Up The Sony A7r III Menus" I can access, except it says the video content is missing. Is it deleted forever?

We shuttled all video content (many thousands) over to a new service.
Some links may not be locked back in.
I’ll bring this one to our webmasters attention.

Appreciated
Josh

Update: the video mentioned should now appear in article.
