Perfectly placed!

Delightful!
Of course it seems to want additional moons on the other pedestals. ;)
-
Francois and Eric - thanks muchos.

Perfect shot. Reminds me of a gold medal platform for the winner!

+B, and A+.

Nice!
I wonder if you have the option to use a longer FL while maintaining a similar composition.

Thank you, Scott and Armand.
Arman - I was maxed out at 200mm on my 70-200 lens. Anything more and I wouldn't have been able to get the other lampposts in. As it is, I had to quickly shoot two handheld exposures (one for the moon and other for the posts) and then combine them.
-
I was thinking of a different vantage point with a longer FL so you can keep the lampposts in, but have the moon even bigger.

Nice.

Very well seen & executed, Rajan! :) Best regards,

Paulo & Vieri - thank you.
Armand - I had a maximum reach of 200 mm available that night, and not many options as regards the location from which to compose. Furthermore, this was an chance occurrence. My intention was to shoot the church in the light of the midnight sun, but as it often happens in Iceland, a bank of clouds arrived and obscured the setting sun. I was met with the rising moon on my walk back to the car.

Sometimes we have to dot our T's I guess... ! Nicely done.
