Title: Spectraview II with NEC2690Wuxi on Catalina
Post by: gjbloch on June 02, 2020, 12:12:23 pm
I have setup my old 2690Wuxi as a second monitor on my iMac running Catalina. I would like to calibrate it.
I downloaded the latest spectraview software from the Nec support site.
I find that the puck is not discovered. The software finds the monitor but says there is no calibration sensor connected.

Tried different USB ports but it does not seem to show up.

Anyone else found this issue or found a solution?

thanks

I had a similar problem with the NEC puck. Turns out the cable has an open connection so it's worthless. I was able to figure that out by wiggling the cable around. Fortunately my I1 display pro puck also works with spectraview if you installed the driver along with Spectraview. As a long time amateur radio operator, I would have tried to fix the cable on the NEC puck if I didn't already have the I1 version.
